Senior Civil Engineer (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team, operating in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, and earthworks, from conceptualization to final construction documentation.
• Conduct site feasibility studies, impact assessments, and prepare detailed technical reports and specifications.
• Oversee project execution, manage contractor performance, and ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards and regulations.
• Utilize advanced CAD software and simulation tools for design, analysis, and visualization.
• Collaborate effectively with remote project teams, clients, and regulatory bodies through digital communication platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration with ECSA or eligibility for registration.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and other relevant modeling and analysis tools.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
