About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly analytical and self-motivated Remote Supply Chain Analyst to join their globally distributed team. This role is critical in optimizing our supply chain performance through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. You will be responsible for analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying trends, and developing solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. As a remote employee, you will work independently, leveraging collaboration tools to connect with colleagues across different time zones, contributing to a culture that values autonomy, innovation, and measurable results in the global logistics network.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement supply chain initiatives and best practices.
- Forecast demand and manage inventory levels across the supply chain network.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies within the supply chain.
- Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote work environment .
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and operations.
