You will work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders across different departments, leveraging advanced analytical tools to uncover trends, identify efficiencies, and forecast outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various mining operations (e.g., geological, production, safety).
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key trends, performance metrics, and operational insights using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through data analysis.
• Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and management teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Develop predictive models to forecast production, costs, and resource availability.
• Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the mining or resource sector.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Advanced skills in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and spreadsheet software (Excel).
• Experience with statistical analysis and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
