Remote E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Remote E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of their online business. This fully remote role is responsible for ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience from order placement to fulfillment and delivery. You will manage inventory, logistics, customer service, and the overall operational workflow, working closely with internal teams and external partners. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage complex processes in a virtual setting to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction for our growing e-commerce brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of e-commerce operations , including order processing, inventory management, fulfillment, and shipping logistics.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, suppliers, and shipping carriers.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Lead and mentor a remote customer service team, ensuring high standards of support are met.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, implementing solutions to streamline workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations management, with a proven ability to manage remote teams and processes.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems, warehouse operations, and supply chain logistics.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and order management systems (OMS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
