About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly vigilant and skilled Remote Telecom Network Security Analyst to safeguard their critical network infrastructure. This fully remote position is vital for protecting our telecommunications systems against cyber threats and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and services. You will be responsible for monitoring network activity, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing robust security measures. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches and suspicious activities using advanced security tools.
- Analyze security alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis and recommending remediation steps.
- Develop, implement, and maintain network security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies in the telecom sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network security, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency with security analysis tools and techniques.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, or GIAC are highly desirable.
