About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their remote team, supporting operations across various locations including Vereeniging. This role is crucial for optimizing inventory levels, improving logistics efficiency, and enhancing overall supply chain performance for their FMCG products. You will leverage data analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend improvements to streamline operations. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Develop demand forecasts and inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels across the network.
• Monitor key supply chain metrics (e.g., lead times, inventory turnover, transportation costs) and report on performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, sales) and external partners to ensure seamless flow of goods.
• Assist in the implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Analysis or a similar role within the FMCG sector.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI software) and supply chain software.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, forecasting techniques, and logistics operations.
