Remote AI Ethics Lead

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking AI Ethics Lead to establish and guide responsible AI practices across their organization. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to shape ethical AI frameworks from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing policies, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to ensure that AI systems are developed and deployed in a fair, transparent, and accountable manner. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive AI ethics framework and guidelines for the organization.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments for new and existing AI projects, identifying potential biases and harms.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure adherence to ethical AI principles and regulations.
• Develop and deliver training programs on AI ethics for employees across various departments.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for AI ethics-related inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on AI ethics.
• 5+ years of experience working in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology policy.
• Deep understanding of machine learning concepts and potential ethical challenges (bias, fairness, transparency, accountability).
• Experience developing ethical frameworks, policies, and training materials.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to navigate complex ethical dilemmas and provide practical solutions.
