About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst (Quant) to join their innovative team on a fully remote basis. This role is central to developing and implementing sophisticated mathematical models for trading strategies, risk management, and pricing derivatives within the Banking & Finance sector. You will leverage advanced statistical techniques and programming skills to drive cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and backtest complex quantitative trading models and algorithms.
- Build and maintain sophisticated pricing and risk management models for various financial instruments.
- Implement models in production environments using high-level programming languages.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trading opportunities and market patterns.
- Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and technologists to refine strategies.
- Conduct rigorous research on new quantitative techniques and methodologies.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience as a Quantitative Analyst in the Banking & Finance industry, preferably in asset management or hedge funds.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, time series analysis, stochastic calculus, and machine learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or R.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and trading strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for quantitative research.
