Procurement Officer - Remote

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join their fully remote team. This position is responsible for managing the end-to- to-end procurement process, ensuring the acquisition of goods and services at the best possible value, quality, and delivery times. You will play a key role in sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role is ideal for a procurement professional who is adept at strategic sourcing and contract management, and who thrives in an autonomous, home-based work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet the organization's needs for goods and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers , ensuring they meet quality and compliance standards.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms.
• Manage existing supplier relationships, conducting regular performance reviews and fostering collaborative partnerships.
• Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders within the procurement system.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical standards, and relevant procurement regulations .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
• Demonstrated experience in sourcing, negotiation, and contract management .
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and market trends.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
