Remote Travel Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Remote Travel Consultant to design and book exceptional travel experiences for clients from the convenience of their home office. You will use your expertise in destinations, accommodation, and transportation to craft personalized itineraries that meet client needs and budgets. This role requires excellent communication, sales, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for travel and creating memorable journeys. As a fully remote team member, you will contribute to inspiring clients and facilitating their dream vacations across diverse global destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and desired destinations.
• Research and recommend suitable travel options, including flights, accommodations, tours, and activities.
• Prepare detailed travel itineraries and quotes for client approval.
• Book travel arrangements and manage client reservations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Provide pre-travel information and post-travel support to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role in the travel industry.
• In-depth knowledge of various destinations, travel products, and booking systems (GDS experience is a plus).
• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client requests efficiently from a remote setting.
• A passion for travel and helping others explore the world, ideally with experience in the regions around Mpumalanga .
