Overview

As Staff Product Analyst, you partner with Grafana’s AI organizations to measure success for AI features and experiences. You will define KPIs, design and evaluate experiments, and translate data into actionable product guidance. Your work spans cross-functional teams to shape instrumentation, dashboards, and the product roadmap for AI-driven experiences like Grafana Assistant and Investigations. This role offers impact at scale within a collaborative, open culture that values autonomous, data-driven decision making.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Establish top-level KPIs, dashboards, and roadmap alignment with Product across teams
• Define success metrics for AI-powered experiences (adoption, engagement, quality, retention, outcomes)
• Instrument product data with Design, PM, and Engineering to enable reliable analysis of AI features
• Design, evaluate, and interpret experiments to assess new AI capabilities
• Develop dbt models to transform user behavior data with Analytics Engineering
• Influence best practices for Product Analytics and set standards as Grafana scales
• Contribute to the long-term vision and strategy for Product Analytics, balancing near-term needs with scalable solutions

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering and familiarity with KPIs and frameworks (DAU/MAU, funnels, A/B testing)
• Experience defining and tracking success metrics for AI-powered features
• SQL: proficient in writing complex, efficient queries
• Data Visualization: experience with Tableau, Looker, Omni, Hex, or Grafana
• Experience writing dbt models and implementing Product Analytics tooling (Heap, Pendo, Amplitude, FullStory); git
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools for rapid prototyping and iteration
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical topics to non-technical audiences
