Remote Operations Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Remote Operations Consultant to join their distributed team, serving clients in and around Port Elizabeth . In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing clients' operational frameworks, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and boost productivity. This position requires a deep understanding of operational best practices and the ability to effectively manage projects and client relationships remotely. You will play a crucial role in optimizing business processes for a variety of organizations, all while enjoying the benefits of a remote work setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client's current operational processes and supply chains.
• Design and implement scalable solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop and manage project plans for operational improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate virtual workshops to gather requirements and gain stakeholder buy-in.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients post-implementation to ensure sustained success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of hands‑on experience in operations consulting or management.
• Proven experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in using project management and data analysis software.
