About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Remote Industrial Engineer to join their globally distributed team, focusing on operations connected to Sandton , Gauteng. This role demands an expert in process analysis and optimization who can effectively drive efficiency improvements and implement strategic solutions from a remote location. You will take ownership of significant projects, analyze complex operational data, and collaborate virtually with teams worldwide to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and redesign of complex industrial processes and systems remotely.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies using advanced modeling and simulation tools.
• Analyze large datasets to identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Design and document optimized workflows, production layouts, and operational procedures for remote implementation.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams through virtual collaboration.
• Manage and execute significant industrial engineering projects from initiation to completion in a remote capacity.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on process optimization and operational efficiency.
• Extensive experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools (Black Belt certification strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in advanced simulation software, data analysis platforms, and remote collaboration tools.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects independently in a remote work environment.
