About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Remote Logistics Specialist to join their globally distributed team. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the movement of goods, coordinating with partners across various locations, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong understanding of logistics processes and excellent communication skills, capable of thriving in an independent work environment while contributing significantly to our global logistics network.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including planning, execution, and monitoring of shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners remotely.
- Utilize logistics software and digital tools to track shipments and manage documentation.
- Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners via digital channels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a logistics specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of supply chain management.
- Proficiency with logistics management software , ERP systems, and collaboration tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, suitable for a remote environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience in international logistics and customs procedures is highly desirable.
