Remote Senior Project Manager - Software Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Remote Senior Project Manager to lead their software development teams. This is a fully remote position, providing the opportunity to manage innovative projects from the comfort of your home office. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for building scalable and robust software products. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional software development teams using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress, and manage dependencies effectively.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and impediments, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Communicate project status, risks, and critical decisions to senior management and stakeholders regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on software development.
• Extensive experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks, certifications like CSM or PSM are highly valued.
• Proven ability to manage multiple software projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git).
