About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Remote Senior Network Architect to lead the design and strategy of their global telecommunications network. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall network architecture strategy, roadmaps, and design principles.
• Design and document complex network solutions, including routing, switching, security, and cloud connectivity.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and architectures to enhance network performance, security, and efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to network engineering teams during implementation phases.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to design standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategy with business objectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in network design and architecture, with a strong emphasis on large-scale telecommunications networks.
• Expert knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), MPLS, and SDN/NFV technologies.
• Proficiency with cloud networking concepts and architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Strong understanding of wireless technologies and future network evolution (e.g., 5G, edge computing).
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, suitable for a remote leadership role.
