AI Solutions Architect (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and strategic AI Solutions Architect to join their globally distributed team, working remotely from Durban or anywhere within South Africa. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of advanced AI solutions that address complex business challenges. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs, translating them into scalable, secure, and effective AI architectures. This position requires a deep understanding of various AI technologies and a proven ability to architect enterprise-level solutions that drive innovation and deliver tangible business outcomes in a fully remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI solutions, including data pipelines, model deployment strategies, and integration points.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI technologies, platforms, and tools for specific business needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in architecting and implementing AI/ML solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of ML concepts, algorithms, and frameworks.
• Proven experience with data engineering, MLOps, and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
