About the Role

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technological advancements and practical farming applications, assisting farmers in implementing and optimizing smart farming solutions. Working remotely, you will provide technical support, training, and consultancy services, enabling farmers to harness the power of IoT, AI, and data analytics to improve efficiency, sustainability, and profitability, contributing to the modernization of agriculture from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, recommend, and assist in the implementation of agricultural technologies such as IoT sensors, drones, precision farming equipment, and farm management software.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for agricultural technology systems.
• Develop training materials and conduct online workshops for farmers on the use of new technologies.
• Collaborate with technology providers and agricultural researchers to ensure solutions meet farmer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Technology, Agronomy with a technology focus, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural technology, precision farming, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of various agricultural technologies, including sensor networks, data analytics platforms, and automation systems.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects remotely.
