Remote Automotive UX/UI Designer

Our client is seeking a creative and user-centric Remote Automotive UX/UI Designer to join their expanding digital product team. This is a fully remote position focused on crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences for next-generation automotive interfaces, including in-car infotainment systems and connected car applications. You will translate complex user needs and business requirements into elegant, functional designs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, create personas, user journey maps, and wireframes to inform design decisions.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI) for automotive HMI (Human-Machine Interface).
• Develop interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and automotive specialists.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work, ideally in the automotive or technology sector.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
