Remote Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Remote Senior Financial Analyst to join their globally distributed finance team, supporting operations based out of Polokwane . This role is critical in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing key insights that guide business strategy and operational decisions. As a fully remote position, you will collaborate extensively with teams across various locations, utilizing advanced analytical tools and communication platforms. We seek a highly motivated, analytical, and proactive individual capable of working independently and delivering high-quality financial analysis in a virtual setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability modeling.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify key financial drivers, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure alignment on financial goals.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or a similar finance role.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI).
• Strong understanding of financial principles and corporate finance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage complex projects in a remote setting.
