Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive compliance programs across the organization.

• Interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements (e.g., FICA, POPIA, AML, KYC) to business practices.
• Advise senior management and business units on compliance best practices and emerging risks.
• Manage regulatory reporting and act as a key liaison with financial regulatory bodies.
• Lead investigations into alleged compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Law, Finance, Compliance, or a related field.
• Significant experience (7+ years) in a senior compliance role within the financial services sector.
• Expert knowledge of South African financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective compliance strategies.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
