Water Resources Engineer (Remote)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement water resource management strategies, including stormwater management, flood control, and water supply systems.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrological modeling using specialized software to analyze water flow and predict system behavior.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments related to water projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and specifications for water infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with remote engineering teams, environmental scientists, and government agencies on project development and regulatory compliance.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in water resources engineering.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in water resources planning, design, and analysis.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration or eligibility is highly desirable.
• Expertise in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, SWMM) and GIS.
• Strong understanding of hydrologic principles, water quality, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
