About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and organized Remote Construction Planner to contribute to the strategic development and scheduling of major construction projects. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your expertise in project planning and scheduling from anywhere, collaborating virtually with project teams. You will be responsible for developing detailed construction schedules, resource planning, and progress monitoring to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using advanced planning software.
- Perform critical path analysis, resource leveling, and risk assessment for construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather schedule-related information.
- Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and report on deviations and potential delays.
- Identify opportunities for schedule optimization and implement strategies to improve project efficiency.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Project Scheduler.
- Expertise in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, phasing, and sequencing.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex project data.
- Effective remote communication and collaboration skills.
