Remote Community Engagement Coordinator

Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Remote Community Engagement Coordinator to foster connections and facilitate support within diverse communities. This role is fully remote, allowing you to build relationships and organize initiatives through digital platforms. You will be responsible for identifying community needs, coordinating resources, and promoting engagement to enhance social well‑wellness and empowerment. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and digital collaboration skills to effectively serve clients and build strong community networks from anywhere, contributing to positive social impact across the Eastern Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement online strategies for community outreach and engagement.
• Coordinate virtual events, workshops, and support groups for community members.
• Identify and connect community members with relevant social services, educational, and health resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders through digital channels.
• Gather feedback from the community to inform program development and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of engagement activities and outcomes.

Requirements

• Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or program coordination.
• Proven experience in utilizing digital tools and platforms for communication and engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences virtually.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment.
