Remote Sports Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sports-related sources.

• Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and forecast outcomes.

• Create compelling visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate complex findings to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with coaching staff, management, and other departments to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and data needs.

• Conduct in-depth research on player performance, team strategies, and market trends using data analytics.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data analytics techniques and sports technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably within the sports industry.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning techniques.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.
