Senior Network Engineer - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable network architectures using industry-leading technologies.
• Proactively monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and new service deployments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for complex network issues across distributed environments.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in network engineering, with a strong background in enterprise-level networking.
• In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching technologies, and network segmentation.
• Proven expertise with cloud networking concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with network security principles, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent professional experience are strongly preferred.
