About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Real Estate Investment Analyst to support their growing investment division. This position is crucial for evaluating potential real estate investment opportunities, conducting thorough market research, and developing financial models to assess viability and profitability. You will work closely with the acquisitions team to provide data-driven insights and recommendations that guide strategic investment decisions. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and the opportunity to contribute significantly to a dynamic investment portfolio, analyzing markets across South Africa and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze potential real estate investment opportunities, including market research, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
- Prepare detailed investment memos, reports, and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on properties, including financial, legal, and physical aspects.
- Monitor existing portfolio performance and identify opportunities for optimization or divestment.
- Research and track macroeconomic trends, real estate market dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather necessary information for analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field.
- 1-3 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, finance, or a related analytical role.
- Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel and Argus Enterprise.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
