Remote Manufacturing Process Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Remote Manufacturing Process Analyst to join their virtual operations team. This role is critical for evaluating, optimizing, and streamlining manufacturing processes across various sites, primarily through data analysis and remote collaboration. You will work independently to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost reductions, and quality improvements, providing data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations, combined with excellent analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a remote work setting, making a significant impact without being physically present at manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing data from various plants to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for process improvement.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations with data-driven recommendations for optimizing production efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies that can enhance manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate remotely with on-site engineering and production teams to implement recommended changes and monitor their effectiveness.
• Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practice guides.
• Utilize advanced analytics tools and statistical methods to support process evaluation and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, process improvement, or data analysis.
• Proven expertise in data analysis and process modeling software (e.g., Excel, Python, R, simulation software).
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote-first environment.
