Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's Safety Management System (SMS).
• Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits across all operational areas.
• Investigate safety incidents and accidents, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs to all levels of personnel.
• Promote and foster a positive safety culture through effective communication and engagement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international aviation safety regulations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in aviation safety management, with a proven track record in implementing and managing SMS.
• Hold relevant safety management certifications or a degree in an aviation-related field.
• Deep understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA, SACAA).
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively influence and engage stakeholders remotely.
• Proficiency in safety management software and virtual collaboration tools.
