About the Role

Our client is looking for an organized and communicative Remote Event Catering Coordinator to support their catering operations, primarily serving clients in the Mahikeng region, from a home-based office. This crucial role involves managing client communications, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring the seamless flow of information between clients, the culinary team, and service staff. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional catering experiences by meticulously planning and overseeing all details. The ideal candidate is adept at remote work, excels in client relations, and possesses a strong understanding of catering services and event management.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing inquiries and detailing event requirements remotely.
• Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu selection, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Liaise with the culinary team to confirm menus, special requests, and dietary needs.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication of event details to all relevant internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain organized client files and event documentation, tracking all communications and agreements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event coordination , hospitality, or customer service, with a focus on remote or administrative support.
