Remote Child Psychologist - Early Intervention

About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and compassionate Remote Child Psychologist specializing in early intervention to join their virtual clinical team. In this role, you will provide crucial psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic services to young children (ages 0-6) and their families, all conducted remotely. You will work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to develop tailored intervention plans aimed at supporting developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for young children.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for developmental, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
• Provide parent coaching and support to enhance home-based interventions and family functioning.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, early intervention specialists, and other healthcare providers via virtual channels.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Child Psychology or a related field.
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with young children and families, including diagnostic assessment and intervention.
• Proven experience and comfort with delivering psychological services via telehealth platforms.
• Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills, with a strong understanding of child development.
