Logistics Coordinator - FMCG (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize their supply chain operations remotely for their FMCG business. This fully remote role requires an individual adept at coordinating transportation, managing inventory, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods to various destinations. You will be instrumental in maintaining the smooth flow of products from production to consumers, working closely with carriers, warehouse teams, and internal departments. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of logistics within the FMCG sector, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, remote work environment, ensuring seamless operations without a physical office presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, and suppliers.
• Track shipments, monitor delivery times, and proactively resolve any logistical issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and delivery status using logistics software.
• Process shipping documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, procurement, operations) to ensure seamless supply chain execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Solid understanding of supply chain management, transportation, and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems for tracking and management.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with external partners.
