Remote HR Generalist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and proactive Remote HR Generalist to join their fully remote workforce. This role offers the flexibility to work from any location in South Africa, providing comprehensive HR support to employees and management. You will be instrumental in managing various HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, policy development, and onboarding, all within a virtual environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and support on employee relations, performance management, and HR policies remotely.

• Oversee and execute the employee onboarding and offboarding processes for a dispersed workforce.

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.

• Administer compensation and benefits programs, liaising with relevant providers.

• Manage recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates across various regions.

• Drive employee engagement initiatives and support HR projects contributing to organizational development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related discipline.

• 4+ years of experience in a broad HR Generalist role, with proven success in remote work settings.

• In-depth understanding of South African labor law and HR best practices.

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack).

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
