Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and scheduling of complex mining operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Develop and implement innovative mining methodologies and technologies.
• Oversee feasibility studies, mine optimization projects, and production forecasting.
• Manage and mentor a team of mining engineers and technical staff remotely.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including management, operations, and external consultants, virtually.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mine planning, design, and operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in open-pit or underground mining methods and equipment selection.
• Proficiency with mine planning software such as MinePlan, Deswik, or Vulcan .
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and teams remotely using collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of mineral economics and financial analysis for mining projects.
