About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join their fully remote engineering team, working from anywhere within South Africa . You will play a key role in building and refining the user interface for their cutting-edge web applications, focusing on performance, scalability, and user experience. This position requires a deep understanding of modern frontend technologies and a passion for creating clean, efficient, and maintainable code. You will collaborate with a talented team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver exceptional digital products. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, pixel-perfect web pages.
- Optimize frontend performance for speed, scalability, and accessibility across various browsers and devices.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, participating actively in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a smooth and reliable user experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Extensive experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Familiarity with build tools, version control (Git), and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
