Remote Reservoir Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Remote Reservoir Engineer to join their global team. This is a significant opportunity to contribute to crucial reservoir studies and development strategies for Oil & Gas assets, fully remotely. You will analyze reservoir performance, forecast production, and develop optimization plans to maximize hydrocarbon recovery, working collaboratively with international teams from your chosen location.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze reservoir performance data, including production rates, pressures, and fluid properties.
• Develop and maintain dynamic reservoir models using industry-standard simulation software.
• Forecast future production and reserves under various development scenarios.
• Recommend and evaluate strategies for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and production optimization .
• Conduct economic evaluations of development and EOR projects.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry .
• Proficiency with reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, CMG, Petrel RE).
• Strong understanding of reservoir characterization, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
• Experience with data analysis and uncertainty assessment.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration abilities.
