Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models and statistical analyses to extract actionable insights from diverse sports datasets.
• Collect, clean, and pre-process large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources, including game footage, performance tracking, and fan engagement metrics.
• Design experiments and analytical frameworks to test hypotheses and validate findings related to player performance, team strategy, and fan behavior.
• Collaborate with engineers and domain experts to integrate data solutions into existing platforms and workflows.
• Visualize and communicate complex data findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and sports analytics.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a significant focus on sports analytics or a related domain.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas).
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques.
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark).
