About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sports Sponsorship Manager to join their fully remote team. You will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing sponsorship opportunities that align with the organization's strategic objectives and brand values. This role requires a skilled negotiator with a deep understanding of the sports industry and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing sponsors. You will play a crucial part in driving revenue growth and enhancing the organization's financial stability through strategic partnerships, all while working from the convenience of your own location.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential corporate sponsors within the sports and related industries.
• Develop compelling sponsorship proposals and present them to prospective clients.
• Negotiate and close sponsorship deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage existing sponsor relationships, ensuring satisfaction and maximizing renewal opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to deliver on sponsor activation plans.
• Track sponsorship performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sponsorship sales , partnership management, or business development, preferably in sports.
• Proven track record of successfully securing and managing corporate sponsorships.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of the sports landscape and corporate marketing objectives.
• Ability to work independently, manage a remote workload effectively, and meet targets.
