About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-driven Strategic Sourcing Manager to join their team in a fully remote capacity. You will analyze spend data, identify opportunities for consolidation and negotiation, and build strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category sourcing strategies to achieve cost, quality, and service objectives.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and supplier research to identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Lead complex negotiations with key suppliers, ensuring favorable contract terms and pricing.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and drive alignment on sourcing initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to anticipate future needs and challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
- Proven success in leading cross-functional sourcing projects and delivering significant cost savings.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong understanding of contract law and risk management.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
