Supply Chain Analyst (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical professional to fill the role of Supply Chain Analyst , working remotely from anywhere in South Africa . This position is integral to optimizing the company's supply chain performance by analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with various departments to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for cost reduction.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the supply chain.
• Provide recommendations for inventory management, demand forecasting, and network optimization.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process improvements.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related analytical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst role or similar analytical function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Experience with supply chain modeling and simulation tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote work setting.
