You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and advising on tax implications of business decisions.

Key Responsibilities • Prepare and submit various tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and PAYE, accurately and on time. • Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with current tax legislation and identify potential tax planning opportunities. • Advise the business on the tax implications of new ventures, transactions, and operational changes. • Liaise with tax authorities and assist in responding to tax audits and queries. • Develop and implement tax policies and procedures to enhance compliance and efficiency. • Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation; a professional qualification (e.g., H.Dip Tax, CA(SA) with tax specialization) is essential. • Proven experience of at least 5 years in a dedicated tax role, preferably within a corporate environment. • In-depth knowledge of South African tax legislation, including corporate tax, VAT, and employment tax. • Proficiency in tax software and strong analytical skills for tax analysis. • Excellent research, written, and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple deadlines effectively in a remote setting.
