Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio and video recordings into clear, accurate, and well‑structured text.
• Edit and proofread transcripts for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and contextual accuracy.
• Label speakers accurately and apply timestamps where required.
• Review and improve automated transcripts to ensure high‑quality outputs.
• Follow strict transcription, formatting, and quality guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and securely handle sensitive or proprietary information.
• Collaborate asynchronously with QA teams to continuously improve transcription quality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Native‑level proficiency in English with strong grammar, punctuation, and language fundamentals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in written output.
• Strong typing proficiency with the ability to meet turnaround deadlines.
• Excellent active listening skills to capture nuanced speech and context.
• Ability to follow detailed transcription and formatting guidelines.
• Comfort working independently in a remote, deadline‑driven environment.
• Familiarity with transcription tools or annotation platforms is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background as a transcriptionist in legal, medical, media, or academic settings.
• Experience reviewing and correcting automated transcripts.
• Familiarity with speaker labeling, timestamps, and structured annotations.
• Experience with audio or video content annotation or data labeling workflows.
