Job Title: User Experience Designer

Experience: 3 to 5 Years Work Model: Greater Toronto Area (Remote) Employment Type: T4 Contract Rate: CAD 50 to 60 per hour

Role Summary

We are hiring a User Experience Designer to create user experiences and interfaces for web-based software products built around Data Visualization capabilities within a cloud platform. The work will include dashboards, reports, landing experiences, and predictive analytics. The selected candidate will collaborate with product management, engineering, and design teams to turn product requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user experiences and user interfaces for web-based software products.
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
• Translate defined product requirements into user experience solutions.
• Design experiences for data visualization, dashboards, reports, landing experiences, and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and senior design partners.
• Work within established design systems, component libraries, and product patterns.
• Support usability reviews, design QA, and developer handoff.
• Apply UX and interaction design practices to enterprise SaaS products.
• Stay current with UX, interaction design, and enterprise SaaS product design practices.
• Suggest improvements to existing software experiences where appropriate.
• Execute defined product design work with moderate latitude for independent judgment.

Must-Have Skills

• 3 to 5 years of relevant Product Design or UX Design experience.
• Experience with data visualization products or dashboards.
• Experience creating sketches, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Experience designing predictive analytics experiences.
• Strong Figma proficiency.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to clearly explain the reasoning behind UX decisions.
• Strong product design portfolio.
• Experience designing enterprise SaaS products.
• Case studies demonstrating the design process, user needs, and design decisions.
• Experience working with design systems, component libraries, and product patterns.
• Experience collaborating with product management, engineering, and design teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with usability reviews and design QA.
• Experience with developer handoff and detailed design specifications.
• Experience with AEC software or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of UX and interaction design practices for web applications.
