ppMercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to build next-generation text-to-speech (TTS) systems capable of producing natural, expressive, and human-like voices.

We are seeking bnative or native-level French speakers with a standard, neutral, accent-free French delivery /b to contribute high-quality voice recordings for training and evaluating cutting-edge speech models.

This role is open to both experienced voice professionals and newcomers with a naturally clear, expressive voice and a good recording setup — prior voice-acting experience is a plus but not required. /ppbYour voice recordings will be used exclusively for the client's internal CX AI Agent.

They will not be sold, licensed, or reused for any other product, dataset, or purpose. /b /ph3bKey Responsibilities /b /h3ullipRecord high-quality voice samples across diverse scripts (conversational, narrative, instructional, etc.) /p /lilipDeliver bclear, natural, and expressive speech /b with strong control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation /p /lilipMaintain bconsistency in voice, accent, and delivery /b across recording sessions /p /lilipFollow detailed recording guidelines (environment, microphone setup, file formatting) /p /lilipPerform multiple takes with variation in emotion, emphasis, and style when required /p /li /ulh3bRequirements /b /h3ullipbNative or native-level French speaker with a standard, neutral French accent (accent-free) /b — no strong regional accent and no foreign-language influence /p /lilipbLocation does not matter /b — we welcome qualified speakers from anywhere, as long as the delivery is neutral, standard French /p /lilipA clear, natural, and expressive voice (prior voice acting, narration, or broadcast experience is a plus, not required) /p /lilipAccess to a bprofessional or near-professional recording setup /b (quality microphone, quiet environment, pop filter, etc.) /p /lilipStrong command of bintonation, diction, and emotional range /b /p /lilipAbility to follow scripts precisely while maintaining natural delivery /p /lilipReliable availability for b5-10 hours per week /b over the project duration. /p /lilipb(IMP): Your voice may be cloned for the client's CX AI Agent so please only apply if you are okay with voice cloning.
