Warehouse Operations Lead (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Lead to guide their remote warehouse teams. This role will focus on setting operational standards, driving efficiency improvements, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all warehouse activities from a remote capacity. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing best practices for inventory management, order fulfillment, and safety protocols. This position requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to inspire and manage a dispersed workforce effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine warehouse operational procedures and standards for remote teams.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, accuracy, and efficiency across all warehouse sites.
• Provide guidance and support to remote warehouse supervisors and teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment across all locations.
• Lead projects aimed at improving warehouse layout, processes, and technology adoption.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or operations leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams, preferably in a remote or distributed setting.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) , inventory control, and order fulfillment processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive operational improvements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
