Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Water Resources Engineer to join their remote operations team, contributing to sustainable water management strategies across various regions. You will play a key role in analyzing water data, developing management plans, and advising on resource optimization, working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders globally through advanced digital platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of water resources, including hydrological modeling, water quality assessment, and demand forecasting.
  • Develop and implement integrated water resource management plans, addressing issues such as scarcity, flood risk, and pollution control.
  • Design and optimize water infrastructure systems, including dams, reservoirs, pipelines, and treatment facilities, often using simulation software.
  • Provide expert technical advice on water-related environmental impact assessments and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate remotely with government agencies, environmental organizations, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable water practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in water resource engineering, climate change adaptation, and sustainable water solutions.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in water resource management, hydrological analysis, or water infrastructure design.
  • Proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, EPANET, SWAT).
  • Strong understanding of water quality principles, environmental regulations, and sustainable water practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration.
