Well Completions Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Well Completions Engineer to join their global operations team. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to work effectively from your home office. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing safe and efficient well completion operations to optimize hydrocarbon production. This role requires a deep understanding of completion technologies, wellbore configurations, and production optimization strategies. Working in collaboration with drilling, reservoir, and production engineers, you will ensure wells are completed to meet performance targets and operational objectives, contributing significantly to the company's upstream success from a remote location.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer well completion programs, including selection of completion equipment and materials.
• Develop detailed procedures for completion operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Manage and supervise completion operations, troubleshooting challenges as they arise.
• Optimize completion designs to maximize production and minimize operational risks.
• Conduct post-completion analysis to evaluate performance and identify lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in well completions engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of completion equipment (e.g., packers, safety valves, sand screens) and artificial lift systems.
• Experience with completion software and simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage projects in a remote environment.
