Telehealth Doctor – Fully Remote | Flexible Hours

Operating seven days a week, from 7am to 10pm AEST, we connect Australians with experienced doctors and nurse practitioners through convenient telehealth consultations.

$60 per consultation, with an expected 4–6 consultations per hour.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced, AHPRA‑registered doctors to join our growing telehealth team.

This is a fully remote contractor position, open to doctors across Australia who are looking for flexible working arrangements.

You'll join an established clinical team delivering personalised healthcare to patients seeking alternative treatment options, including medicinal cannabis where clinically appropriate.

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct telehealth consultations, including initial assessments, treatment reviews and ongoing patient management.
• Assess patients and develop individualised treatment plans based on their clinical needs.
• Prescribe Schedule 4 and Schedule 8 medications where clinically appropriate and legally permitted.
• Provide ongoing monitoring, follow‑up consultations and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with relevant prescribing regulations.
• Collaborate with our nurse practitioners, Medical Director and dedicated patient care team.
• Use our digital healthcare platform to efficiently manage consultations, appointments and prescriptions.
• Deliver safe, evidence‑based care while maintaining independent clinical judgement.

Remuneration & Expectations

Qualifications

We are looking for motivated medical practitioners who are confident working independently, comfortable with technology and passionate about improving access to healthcare.

What we're looking for:

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills.
• Knowledge of Australian prescribing regulations, including Schedule 4 and Schedule 8 medications.
• Familiarity with real‑time prescription monitoring, privacy requirements and medico‑legal obligations.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient‑centred approach.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage consultations efficiently.
• Confidence using electronic medical records and digital healthcare systems.
• Reliability, professionalism and a commitment to high‑quality clinical care.

Previous experience prescribing medicinal cannabis is highly regarded but not essential.
