The teams building them need mechanical design engineers who can create accurate CAD models and manufacturing documents, check that the work is correct and ready for production, and write the technical documentation a practitioner would provide. What you'll do

• Build and update mechanical part and assembly models as parametric 3D CAD files, using FreeCAD or a comparable platform
• Add GD&T callouts and tolerance stack-ups to manufacturing drawings
• Design components for sheet-metal work, CNC machining, plastics or injection molding
• Assess technical documents and CAD models for production accuracy and manufacturability, then incorporate the technical feedback

Who this is for

• At least two years' experience designing mechanical components for manufacturing
• Hands-on professional use of FreeCAD or another parametric CAD tool for advanced modeling, assemblies and drawings, plus strong GD&T, tolerance analysis and design-for-manufacturing knowledge
• Professional fluency in English, with clear communication in writing and conversation for collaborative technical reviews and documentation
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
