About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Remote Automotive Parts Specialist to join their fully remote operations. You will be the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams regarding automotive parts inquiries, order fulfillment, and inventory management. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive components, a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, and the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently from a home-based setting. You will play a vital role in ensuring seamless parts operations, contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the business through your remote expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer and internal inquiries regarding part availability, compatibility, pricing, and order status via phone, email, and chat.
• Accurately identify and source required automotive parts using catalogs, online databases, and internal inventory systems.
• Process parts orders efficiently, ensuring correct part numbers, quantities, and shipping information.
• Manage and update parts inventory records, performing regular cycle counts and reconciliations remotely.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely delivery of parts.
• Provide technical support related to part identification and application to both customers and sales teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive parts industry or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive components, systems, and terminology across various vehicle makes and models.
• Proficiency with parts management software and online catalog systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in order processing and inventory management.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
